Getting Started #
Welcome to VidiMax – a display management system designed to help you monitor, control, and automate content across a network of digital displays. This manual covers all core features of the system, including the display list, slate configuration, notification templates, automation tasks, National Weather Service integration, and the administration menu.
Before you begin, make sure your VidiMax server is powered on and connected to your local network. All configuration is done through a standard web browser – no software installation is required on the device you use to manage the system.
Finding the System IP Address
To access the VidiMax interface you need the server’s IP address. If you do not already know it, use the following method on any Windows computer connected to the same network:
- Open Command Prompt (press Windows + R, type cmd, press Enter).
- Type the following command and press Enter:
- ping vidimax -4
- The reply will show the IP address of the VidiMax server. Make a note of it.
Creating the First Administrator Account
On first access, the system will prompt you to create a Super Admin account. This account has full access to all features including the Admin menu.
- Open a web browser and navigate to the VidiMax server’s IP address (e.g. https://192.168.1.50).
Note: If the browser prompts you to a security message, allow the access by clicking Advanced > Proceed to the address.
- You will be presented with the account creation screen. Enter the following:
- Username – choose a unique login name.
- Email address – used for account identification.
- Password – choose a strong password and keep it secure.
- Click Create Account (or equivalent). You will be logged in automatically.
| IMPORTANT: Only one Super Admin account can be created this way. Additional users are added later through the Admin menu. Keep the Super Admin credentials secure – losing access to this account may require a system reset. |
Logging In
On all subsequent visits, navigate to the VidiMax server IP address in your browser. You will see the login screen.
- Enter your Username and Password.
- Click Log In.
- Standard users will see the main navigation menu without the Admin section.
- Administrator accounts will see the full menu including Admin controls.
| TIP: Bookmark the system IP address in your browser for quick access. If the server’s IP address changes (for example, after a network reconfiguration), use the ping method above to find it again, or set a static IP through the Admin menu. |
System Overview
Once logged in, you will see the main navigation menu. The VidiMax system is organized into the following sections:

Recommended First Steps
If you are setting up VidiMax for the first time, follow this sequence to get your system running quickly:
- Log in and confirm you can see the Displays page – your connected screens should appear automatically.
- Go to Notification Templates and create at least one slate (a basic text or alert message).
- Return to Displays, open a display’s detail panel, and add the slate to its configuration queue.
- Go to Tasks and create your first automation rule if needed (for example, a weather alert task).
- Review the Logs page after a few minutes to confirm the system is running correctly.
Displays #
The Displays page is your central dashboard for monitoring and controlling all connected display screens. Every VidiMax client device that connects to the server is automatically discovered and listed here. From this page you can see what is playing on each screen, manage push queues, and configure each display’s default content.
Active Pushes
Above the display list, the Active Pushes panel provides a system-wide view of all notification slates currently being pushed across your entire network of displays. This panel groups pushes by template name – so if the same Storm Warning slate is playing on 18 displays simultaneously, it appears as a single row rather than 18 separate entries. This keeps the panel useful even in large deployments with 50–100+ screens.
- The top bar of the Active Pushes panel is always visible, even when the panel is collapsed. It shows:
- A pulsing red dot indicating active pushes are in progress.
- The title “Active Pushes”.
- A priority count breakdown – for example: P1 Critical · 18 displays | P2 High · 4 displays | P3 Medium · 9 displays.
- The total number of active push entries across all displays.
- Click anywhere on the summary bar to expand or collapse the panel body.
Each row in the expanded panel represents one unique slate being pushed, regardless of how many displays are showing it. Each group row displays:
- The slate name.
- A display count pill showing how many screens are playing it (with a pulsing green dot).
- The priority level badge (color-coded P1–P5).
- The source of the push – “task” for automated task actions, “manual” for pushes sent directly from the Notification Templates page.
- A Dismiss all N button that removes this slate from every display showing it simultaneously.

| WARNING: Dismiss All cannot be undone. All queued and playing pushes will be removed from every display. Displays will immediately return to their slideshow or default slate configuration. |
Filtering and Sorting
Above the display list, use the Filter search box to find displays by name. The Sort By dropdown lets you sort by display name, status, or temperature. Use Show All to remove any active filters.
The Display List
The display list shows all known display devices in a table format. Each row represents one screen and includes the following information:

| Display Name | The name assigned to this screen. Click the name or the edit icon to rename it. Names should be descriptive – for example “Lobby East”, “Meeting Room 2F”, or “Reception Monitor”. |
| IP Address | The local network IP address of the display client. Shows N/A if the display is on the VidiMax-managed network without a routable IP. |
| MAC Address | The hardware MAC address of the display client. Useful for identifying devices on the network or in router DHCP tables. |
| Status | A green dot indicates the display is online. A grey dot means it is offline. The device temperature is shown below the status dot. |
| Actions | The eye icon opens the full Display Details panel for that screen. |
Display Details #
Click on any display row to open the Display Details panel. This panel is divided into two sections: Basic Information and Slate Configuration.
Basic Information
This section shows the technical details of the display device. The Display Name can be edited by clicking on it. All other fields are read-only system values:
- Display Name – editable. Click to rename.
- IP Address – the device’s local network address.
- MAC Address – the hardware identifier.
- Status – Active (online) or Inactive (offline).
- Resolution – the screen’s pixel resolution (e.g. 1920×1080).
- Temperature – the internal device temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius. High temperatures may indicate the need for better ventilation.
- Certificate CN – the device certificate Client name, used for remote display configuration.
- Thumbprint – the certificate fingerprint for remote display verification.
Slate Configuration
This section controls what the display shows when no push notification is active. Think of this as the display’s “idle” or “background” content.
Display Mode
Choose how the display behaves when idle:
- Single Slate – the display shows one selected slate continuously on loop. Use this when you want a specific piece of content to always be visible – for example, a clock or a lobby welcome message.
- Slideshow – the display cycles through a queue of slates in order, each playing for its configured duration before advancing to the next. Use this for varied content – announcements, menus, event listings, and a clock combined in rotation.
Allow Interruptions
This toggle controls whether pushed notifications can override the idle content:
- On (default) – pushed slates from tasks or manual sends will appear on this display, interrupting the slideshow or single slate. This is the standard setting for most displays.
- Off – no push notification will ever override this display. It will continue showing its configured content regardless of any task or manual send that targets it. Use this for dedicated displays – for example, a reception screen that must always show a specific welcome message.
| IMPORTANT: When Allow Interruptions is turned off, this display will be unaffected by weather alert tasks. Make sure this is intentional before disabling it. |
Slate Queue
The slate queue is the list of slates that make up the display’s idle content. In Single Slate mode, only the first slate (or the one marked Default) is shown. In Slideshow mode, all slates in the queue cycle in order.

| Duration | How many seconds this slate plays before advancing to the next one. Enter a value in the input field – the “s” label sits directly beside the input, not below it. Minimum 5 seconds. |
| Status | Shows “Now Playing” (pulsing green dot) for the slate currently visible on screen. Shows “Default” (blue badge) for the slate that displays on power-on. |
| Actions | ↑ move up in queue, ↓ move down, Set Default to mark as the boot slate, × to remove. All buttons are on a single line. |
Setting a Default Slate
The Default slate is what appears on the display when it first powers on, before the slideshow begins cycling. To change it:
- Locate the slate you want as the default in the queue table.
- Click the Set Default button in its Actions column.
- The blue Default badge will move to that row.
- Click Save Changes to apply.
| NOTE: Only one slate can be the default at a time. The Set Default button is automatically disabled on whichever row currently holds the Default badge. |
Adding a Slate to the Queue
Click the + Add Slate button below the queue table to add a new slate. A picker will open showing all available slates templates. The built-in Time & Date slate is always available as an option regardless of which templates you have created. After selecting a slate, it is added to the bottom of the queue. Use the ↑ and ↓ arrows to reposition it.
Built-in Time & Date Slate
VidiMax includes a built-in Time & Date screen that displays the current time and date. This is the factory default content that displays show when no other configuration has been applied.
Now Playing (per display)
The push queue section appears at the top of the Display Details panel, above the Slate Configuration. It shows all notification slates that have been pushed to this specific display – either by an automated task or a manual send – and are currently playing or waiting to play
Understanding the Push Queue
Unlike the idle slideshow content, pushed notifications are temporary. They play for a set duration and then the display returns to its normal content. The push queue is ordered by priority – higher-priority items play first regardless of when they were sent.
- The currently playing item is always in position 1, shown with a pulsing green dot and a live progress bar counting down the remaining time.
- Waiting items appear below in the order they will play, shown at reduced opacity with a grey Waiting badge.
- Each item shows its slate name, priority level, duration, and the source (whether it came from a task or a manual send).
Dismissing and Removing Items
- Dismiss (playing item) – ends the current slate immediately and advances to the next item in the queue. If the queue is empty after dismissal, the display returns to its slideshow.
- × Remove (waiting item) – cancels a queued item before it plays. The currently playing slate is not affected.
| TIP: Use the global Dismiss All button on the Display List page if you need to clear pushed content from all displays at once – for example, after a weather alert has passed. |
Slate Priority System #
Every notification pushed to a display – whether triggered automatically by a task or sent manually – carries a priority level. Priority is the mechanism that determines what happens when multiple notifications arrive at the same display at the same time. Rather than the last-sent notification always winning, VidiMax uses a structured priority queue so that the most important content always reaches the screen first.
Why Priority Matters
Consider a scenario where a scheduled Morning Announcements slate is playing on all lobby displays, and simultaneously the National Weather Service issues a tornado warning. Without priority, the announcements would continue playing until their scheduled time ended, or would be replaced only if someone manually intervened. With priority, the tornado warning – configured as P1 Critical – immediately interrupts the announcements (configured at P3 Medium or lower) and takes over all displays. When the warning slate’s duration ends, the announcements resume automatically.
This system means you never have to manually manage competing content. Every piece of content has a clearly defined rank, and the system enforces that rank automatically and consistently.
Priority Levels

Queue Rules

Duration
Every pushed slate has a duration – a number of seconds it will play before automatically clearing and advancing the queue. Duration is configured when the push is created: either in the Task action settings or in the Send Notification modal when sending manually.
- There is no maximum, but very long durations on high-priority slates will block all lower-priority content for the entire duration.
- Operators can always end a playing slate early using the Dismiss button in the Display Details panel or the Active Pushes panel.
| IMPORTANT: Setting a very short duration (under 10 seconds) on an emergency alert may not give viewers enough time to read and respond to the message. Recommended minimum for emergency content: 60 seconds. |
Slates #
Slate Templates are the content pieces that get displayed on your screens. A template defines what the audience sees: a text message, an image, a weather alert, a live device readout, or a custom web page. You create templates once and can reuse them across multiple tasks, displays, and manual sends.
Creating your notification templates before setting up tasks is recommended, since tasks reference templates by name when configuring their actions.
The Templates Page
Navigate to Slates from the main menu. The page lists all existing templates in a table with the following columns:
- Preview – a thumbnail of the template’s visual appearance.
- Name – the template’s display name.
- Type – the notification type (Alert, Message, Image, etc.).
- Actions – icons to edit/preview, add to a display’s slideshow/send once, and to delete it.
Click Add Template in the top right corner to create a new one.
Creating a Template
After clicking Add Template, the template editor opens. Work through the following fields:
Template Name
Give the template a clear, descriptive name. You will reference this name when configuring task actions, so names like “Storm Warning”, “Morning Announcements”, or “Cafeteria Menu – Monday” are better than generic names like “Template 1”.
Notification Type
Select the type of content this template will display. Each type has different configuration options:

Saving and Previewing
Use the Preview button (top right of the editor) to see exactly how the template will look on screen before saving. Use the Save icon to save the template. Use the Download icon to export the template configuration.

Editing and Deleting Templates
From the Templates page, click the edit icon (pencil) in the Actions column to reopen the editor for any template. All settings can be changed and saved again.
To delete a template, click the delete icon. If the template is referenced by an active task, you will be warned before deletion. Deleting a template that tasks depend on will break those task actions.
| IMPORTANT: Renaming a template does not automatically update task actions that reference it by the old name. After renaming, check and update any tasks that use that template. |
Sending a Template Manually / Adding to a Display’s Slideshow Configuration
Any template can be pushed to one or more displays immediately, or added to a display’s slideshow configuration, without creating a task. This is useful for one-off announcements, testing, or updating a slideshow without navigating to a particular display

- On the Notification Templates page, find the template you want to send or add.
- Click the send icon (paper plane) in the Actions column.
- The Send Notification modal opens, showing the template name at the top for confirmation.
- Select Send Now or Add to Slideshow.
- Under Select Displays, check the boxes next to each display that should receive the notification. You can select any combination of displays. Note: for Add to Slideshow, select one display at a time.
- Set the Duration — the number of seconds the slate will play on each selected display before clearing.
- Send Now only: select the Priority (P1–P5). Manual pushes default to P2 High, which interrupts most routine content but waits behind any active P1 emergency alert.
- Click Send to dispatch the notification immediately, or Add to save it to the selected display’s slideshow.
Tasks & Automation #
The Tasks page is where you define automated rules that run without any manual intervention. Each task uses an IF / THEN structure: when a specified condition (event) occurs, the system automatically executes one or more responses (actions). Tasks can be as simple as pushing a daily announcement at 8:00 AM or as complex as responding to a National Weather Service warning by simultaneously alerting every display, ringing outdoor bells, and triggering an audio notifications.
Tasks run continuously in the background as long as they are enabled. You can have as many tasks as needed, and each one operates independently.
Creating a Task
- Navigate to the Tasks page.
- Click Add Task in the top right corner.
- The Task Builder opens. Fill in the Task Name – use something descriptive like “Morning Announcements – Weekdays” or “Tornado Warning – All Buildings”.
- Optionally enter a Description to explain what the task does and when it was created.
- Add one or more Events to define the trigger conditions.
- If you have multiple events, set the AND / OR logic between them.
- Add one or more Actions to define what happens when the task fires.
- Click Save Task. The task is immediately active.
The Task Enabled Checkbox
At the top of the Task Builder is a Task Enabled checkbox that is checked by default. When checked, the task runs automatically. When unchecked, the task is saved but paused – it will not fire until re-enabled.
To temporarily pause a task without deleting it:
- Open the task using the Edit button.
- Uncheck Task Enabled.
- Click Save Task.
To resume it, repeat the process and check the box again. This is much faster than recreating the task configuration from scratch.
Event Types
Events are the trigger conditions for a task. Each task can have one or more events. Click + Add Event to add additional event rows. Each event row is expandable – click the chevron to configure its settings.

| Periodic | Triggers repeatedly on a fixed interval. Enter an interval value and select the unit: Seconds, Minutes, Hours, or Days. For example, value 30, unit Minutes fires every 30 minutes from the moment the task is saved. |
| Weekday | Triggers on a specific day of the week, optionally at a specific time. Select the day of the week (Monday through Sunday) from the dropdown. Optionally enter a time in HH:MM format – if left blank, the task fires at midnight on that day. |
| Weather Alert | Triggers when the National Weather Service issues a qualifying alert for your selected area. Configuration: select State, one or more Counties, one or more Alert Types, and minimum Severity level. The VidiMax server polls weather.gov every 2 minutes. See NWS integration setup. |
| Device | Triggers when a property on a connected Linortek device meets a specified condition. Select the device from the dropdown, then select the property to monitor (for example, temperature or relay state). Configure the condition threshold. |
AND / OR Logic Between Events
When a task has two or more events, you choose how they combine using the AND / OR toggle that appears between event rows in the Events column.
- AND – all events must be true simultaneously for the task to fire. Use this when you need multiple conditions to be met at the same time – for example, IF it is a weekday AND IF it is 8:00 AM.
- OR – any single event being true is enough to trigger the task. Use this when any one of several conditions should fire the same response – for example, IF a Tornado Warning is issued OR IF a Severe Thunderstorm Warning is issued.
Action Types
Actions are what VidiMax does when a task fires. A single task can have multiple actions that all execute simultaneously. Click + Add Action to add additional action rows. Each action row is expandable.

Configuration: select the notification template (slate), select the target displays, enter the duration in seconds, and choose the priority level (P1–P5). A hint line below the priority selector explains what each level means. Tip: weather alert notification actions should generally use P1 Critical to ensure they cannot be blocked by any other content. |
| Relay | Activates or deactivates a relay on a connected Linortek device. Configuration: select the device (identified by hostname or IP address if multiple exist), select the relay number, and set the state to ON or OFF. Relay ON typically activates bells, tone generators, strobes, or other wired equipment. |
| Log | Writes a custom message to the system log. Configuration: select a log level (Info, Warning, Error) and enter the message text. Useful for audit trails and for confirming that a task fired as expected. |
Configuring Priority and Duration on a Notification Action
Every Notification action has two fields that control how the push behaves on the display:
Duration
Enter the number of seconds the slate should remain on screen. The minimum is 5 seconds. Consider the following when setting duration:
- Emergency alerts: 60–180 seconds gives viewers enough time to see and respond.
- Routine announcements: 30–60 seconds is typical for slideshow-style rotation.
- Very long durations on high-priority slates will block all lower-priority content for that entire time.
Priority
Click one of the five buttons (P1 through P5) to select the priority. The selected button highlights in its priority color and a description below explains its behavior:
- P1 Critical – cannot be interrupted. All lower-priority slates wait.
- P2 High – interrupts P3, P4, and P5. Waits if P1 is playing.
- P3 Medium – interrupts P4 and P5. Waits if P1 or P2 is playing.
- P4 Standard – interrupts P5 only. Waits if P1–P3 is playing.
- P5 Low – never interrupts. Always waits for everything else to finish.

Devices #
The Devices page lists all Linortek network controllers that are accessible on the VidiMax network. These devices – including the Netbell-2 bell controller, Netbell-NTG tone generator, Ultra, KODA and Fargo I/O controllers, iTrixx controllers are discovered automatically when they are connected to the same LAN segment as the VidiMax server.
Device List
Each device in the list shows its name, IP address, MAC address, and online status. From the list you can:

- Pin a device to the top of the list using the + icon. Unpin using the – icon. Pinning is useful for devices you frequently need to check or reference.
- Show or hide offline devices using the toggle control. Offline devices are still listed so you can see their last-known information, but hiding them reduces visual clutter in large deployments.
- Search and filter devices by name, IP address, MAC address, or status using the filter bar.
- Edit a device name by clicking the edit icon. Clear, location-based names (for example “Netbell-2 – Building A Entrance”) make relay configuration in tasks much easier.
Adding Devices Manually
Devices on the same LAN segment as the VidiMax server are discovered automatically. The Add Manually option is available for third-party IoT devices that are not auto-discovered. This feature is currently in development – check release notes for availability.
| TIP: If a Linortek device does not appear in the list, confirm it is powered on and connected to the same network segment as the VidiMax server. Check that it has a valid IP address by accessing it directly through its web interface. |
Logs #
The Logs page provides a complete, time-stamped history of all activity in the VidiMax system. Logs are generated automatically and cannot be edited. They are an essential tool for troubleshooting, compliance, and confirming that automated tasks are running as expected.
What Is Logged

- User activity – logins, logouts, failed login attempts, and account changes.
- Task execution – every time a task fires, with the task name, timestamp, and actions executed.
- Notifications sent – records of every slate pushed to displays, including target displays and duration.
- Relay activations – records of every relay action executed by a task.
- System events – software updates, configuration changes, and device connection/disconnection events.
- Custom log entries – messages written by Log actions in tasks.
- Errors and warnings – any system errors or conditions that require attention.
Filtering and Viewing Logs
The log table can be filtered by log type (Info, Warning, Error), by date range, or by keyword. Use the search bar to find logs related to a specific task name, display, device, or user.
Set the auto-refresh interval to keep the log view updating in real time during active monitoring. This is particularly useful during testing – for example, when verifying that a weather alert task fires correctly after setup.
Downloading Logs
Click the Download button to export the current log view to a file for offline analysis, record-keeping, or sharing with support staff. Available in .txt and .cvs format.
Database Integration #
VidiMax stores its system data in a PostgreSQL database. The Database page allows external platforms and reporting tools to connect to this database and read its data for integration, analytics, or custom dashboards.
Configuration

- Configure the update interval – how frequently VidiMax writes updated data to the database tables used by external connections.
- Enable external connections to allow third-party systems to read data.
- Copy the Provisioning Info to get the connection string and credentials needed to connect an external tool.
Use Cases
- Pulling notification and task activity into a central reporting dashboard.
- Integrating display status data with a building management system.
| IMPORTANT: Database access grants read permissions to all system data. Only provide provisioning information to trusted systems and administrators. Rotate credentials if a third-party integration is decommissioned. |
Admin Menu #
The Admin menu is only visible when logged in as an Administrator account. Standard user accounts do not see this section. It contains controls for managing users, updating system software, and configuring network and system settings.
User Management
Add, edit, and delete system user accounts. Every account requires:
- Username – the login name used on the login screen.
- Email address – for account identification.
- Password – set by the administrator at creation. Users should be encouraged to change their password on first login.
Each account can optionally have SSH remote access enabled. SSH access uses the same username and password as the web interface. Enable this only for users who require direct server access for technical administration.
Software Update
VidiMax server software can be updated through the interface without requiring direct server access.
- Navigate to Admin > Update Software.
- Click Choose File and choose the update package provided by your VidiMax distributor.
- Click Upload Update.
- The system will apply the update and restart automatically. The process typically takes 2–5 minutes.
| IMPORTANT: Do not power off the server or close the browser during a software update. Interrupting the update process may leave the system in an inconsistent state and require manual recovery. |
System Config
Network Configuration
The VidiMax server has two physical network ports, each with a separate role. Navigate to Admin > System Config > Network Settings to configure them. The page shows the current IP addresses for both interfaces under Current Network Properties – click Refresh to update the display.
LAN Tab (Interface 1)
This is the port that connects the VidiMax server to your existing network or internet. Configure it to match your environment:
- Use DHCP – check this box to have the server obtain an IP address automatically from your network’s DHCP server. This is the simpler option but the IP address may change after a restart or lease renewal.
- Static IP (recommended for production) – leave Use DHCP unchecked and manually enter the IPv4 Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway. A static IP ensures bookmarks and device configurations remain valid after restarts.
Click Save after making changes.
DHCP Server Tab (Interface 2)
This port acts as a DHCP server, automatically assigning IP addresses to any VidiMax display clients and Linortek devices connected to it. No need for a separte router or DHCP server.

| LAN IPv4 Address | The IP address of the LAN port on the managed network. Devices on this segment use it as their default gateway. |
| LAN Subnet Mask | The subnet mask for the managed network segment. |
| Enable DHCP Server | When checked, the server automatically assigns IP addresses to devices connected to the LAN port within the configured range. |
| DHCP Range Start / End | The pool of IP addresses available to assign — for example 10.0.0.10 to 10.0.0.100. All connected VidiMax clients and Linortek devices will receive an address from this range. |
| Lease Time (minutes) | How long an assigned IP address is reserved for a device before it must be renewed. Leave blank to use the system default. |
| DNS Provided to Clients | The DNS server address given to connected devices. “Use upstream” passes through the DNS from your main network connection. |
| Allow Internet (NAT) | When enabled, devices on the LAN port can reach the internet through the VidiMax server via NAT. Enable this if your display clients or Linortek devices need internet access. |
Click Save after making changes.
MQTT Broker
Configure the built-in MQTT broker for integration with external systems that communicate via MQTT protocol. This enables real-time event messaging between VidiMax and compatible building management or IoT platforms.
Remote Display Configuration
Settings related to remote display behavior to control monitors outside of the network. This section provides you credentials for Azure cloud connection. Please contact support@linortek.com for the quote and connection.
System Settings (Date & Time)
Adjust the system date and time. Accurate timekeeping is essential for Time and Weekday event triggers in tasks. If the system clock drifts, scheduled tasks may fire at incorrect times.

Appendix: Pre-Deployment Checklist #
Use this checklist before going live with VidiMax in a production environment.
User Access & Permissions
- Create a test user account and confirm login works with correct credentials.
- Confirm that Admin menu is not visible to non-administrator accounts.
- Test SSH access for any users who require it.
- Change the default Super Admin password if it has not already been changed.
Displays
- All display clients appear in the Displays list with a green online status.
- Each display has been given a descriptive name.
- Slate queues have been configured for each display (duration, order, default slate).
- Display mode (Single Slate vs Slideshow) is set correctly for each screen.
- Allow Interruptions is correctly set – on for displays that should receive emergency alerts.
Notification Templates
- At least one slate has been created for each type of content to be displayed.
- Weather alert slates have been created for each alert type being monitored.
- Custom HTML slates have been previewed and confirmed to render correctly.
Tasks
- All scheduled tasks have been created and tested.
- Weather alert tasks have been configured with the correct state, counties, alert types, and severity.
- Priority levels are correctly set on all Notification actions.
- Relay actions reference the correct device and relay number.
- Task Enabled is checked for all tasks that should be active.
Devices
- All Linortek devices appear in the Devices list with online status.
- Relay assignments have been documented for each device.
- Relay actions in tasks have been tested to confirm correct device and relay activation.
Network
- VidiMax server has a static IP address (recommended for production).
- All display clients and Linortek devices are on the correct network segment.
- The server has internet access for NWS API polling (if using weather alerts).
Final Verification
- Trigger at least one task manually or through a test event and confirm all actions execute.
- Confirm the active push appears on targeted displays with the correct slate and priority.
- Check the Logs page to confirm the test event was recorded.
- Dismiss the test push and confirm displays return to their configured default content.
